About Us

Our program is tailored to meet the specific needs of infants and toddlers in an environment where learning occurs and love is given to every child. Our learning experiences encourage children even at  young age to explore, problem solve, learn early conflict resolution skills, and engage in cooperative play with their peers. 

Children are provided with a variety of activities to help them develop foundational skills in various areas of development such as cognitive (thinking), gross motor which includes using large and small muscles for physical activity and hand/finger coordination, and social emotional development (the ability to understand who they are and how to appropriately interact with others).

At Labor of Love Childcare, LLC. we implement the HighScope Curriculum. HighScope is an educational approach which emphasizes active participatory learning. Active learning means students have a direct, hands-on experience with people, objects, events, and ideas. Childrens’ interest and choices are at the heart of HighScope programs.

My daughter was under the care of LaDawn for about two years. In those years I watched her excel in many ways that I had not seen in her previous daycare. LaDawn established relationships with the parents and was great at communicating praises as well as concerns. My daughter absolutely loved her, and we would still use her for care today if she was in the 0-3yrs age group.

LaDawn’s approach to learning and creative thinking created a viable environment for building intellectual curiosity and confidence in the kids. Also we received hourly reports on their eating, sleeping, playing, and learning activities which keeps us abreast of how they spend their day.
